Markets

The Peekskill BID supports downtown public markets because they improve the quality of life for Peeskillians and introduce visitors to all that downtown has to offer – small local businesses that carry things you won’t find in big box stores, amazing restaurants and cafes, loads of talented artists and musicians, and a downtown where knowing your neighbor still matters.

Peekskill Farmer’s Market

The Peekskill Farmers Market is the central weekend hub of our vibrant community. One of the longest running outdoor farmers’ markets in the Hudson Valley (established twenty-four years ago) the market attracts more than 30,000 visitors to downtown Peekskill annually.

Our vendors provide a diverse assortment in artisan foods, produce direct from local farms, and fine crafts. You will find regional vegetables, mushrooms, and flowers, natural and organic chicken, beef and pork, award winning New York State cheeses, fresh baked goods, as well as New York State wine, beer & cider. Every week features a variety of family friendly live entertainment.

We are open Saturdays from June to November from 8am to 2pm on Bank Street (between Main St. and Park St.) in the heart of historic downtown Peekskill. Our new extended spring season is now open on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm outside on the plaza at the Peekskill library. After shopping, please enjoy one of our renowned downtown Peekskill restaurants featuring both American and World cuisine – they’re happy to hold your farmers market bags in the fridge while you dine.

Come visit the Peekskill Farmers’ Market where the shopping is always fun, and the parking is always free!

We accept all applications to become a vendor at the Peekskill Farmers Market until March before the start of each year’s market season. To learn more about joining our market please request a copy of our Market Guidelines by contacting us by email: peekskillfarmersmarket@gmail.com. The Peekskill Farmers Market is managed by Corinna Makris, owner of Elemental Events, LLC, “Events that meet at the intersection of shopping and entertainment.”
