The Kingston Trio is one of the few groups today that has survived the many changes in the world of music. They have remained consistent in their sound, which probably explains their resurgence in popularity over the last few years. The Kingston Trio consists of George Grove, Bill Zorn, and Rick Doughtery. The Kingston Trio was the number one vocal group in the world, a musical and cultural phenomenon whose record sales and concert draws were matched only by the The Beatles.

  • Stash the Trash

Dear downtown property and business owners,

We need your help to STASH the TRASH.

Peekskill gets a lot positive press for our flourishing dining and entertainment options, prompting a lot of people to come into town to explore what we have to offer.

There has been a noticeable increase of trash and litter on the street—and it’s not coming from visitors walking along our streets.

The street trash is coming largely from residential tenants and some businesses using the city’s sidewalk trash containers as their personal dumpsters, which when overstuffed, spill onto the sidewalk and streets.  If we want to bring visitors, tourists and diners to Downtown Peekskill with disposable income, we need to control the trash.

Additionally, some tenants and some businesses are not following the trash collection schedules, such as putting trash out on holidays.

This is where you come in.  We need your help.

We will be sending property owners and tenants the attached poster shortly for posting or distribution to tenants in English and Spanish language.

In addition, the the 2017 Trash Collection schedule and regulations and schedules are also on the city website.

Please email us if you have any questions:

We are all in this together. Please do your part to STASH the TRASH.  Thank you.
